Have to and Get To
Have to and get to have a drastic difference in
meaning. Have to means you are forced like a slave to do whatever you are
doing. It means that you are pinned to what you are doing and are not allowed
to leave it unfinished. Get to means that you are required, but it’s upon your
own jurisdiction whether or not to do what is before you. It makes an entire
situation easier if, before you get angry and mad, you realize that you most
likely chose to do this job whether the decision was made indirectly or
directly. It will change your outlook on work forever.
