The Good American

To be a good American, you should have many good qualities about you to be considered so. As a good American, you must respect those around you and show fairness in judging the daily matters of life. You must also show loyalty, both to your fellow citizen and to the state as one of its subordinates. With this loyalty you must show you understand the responsibility to vote and to voice the opinions you feels are true without bias. You must be honest in your dealings of everyday life, for and honest life with save you from unnecessary strife. Honesty leads to honor which, in and of itself, requires you to honor the principles and beliefs of the nation, which include even honesty. Lawfulness is also key to being a good American. Your record of being a upstanding citizen influences the results of your life permanently. Your service to your nation is very key. Every day you serve your nation in some way whether its as little as managing your money in a wise way so as not to hurt yourself and the economy indirectly or as big as defending lands from tyrants and invaders. To care for your country is immensely important. You must take great care of the land on which you reside. It has been given to you as a blessing and you must use it wisely. You must have courtesy. No man, whether dark skin or light, tall or short, large or small, nerdy or cool, is to be neglected from your courtesy. All people deserve to be shown courtesy. Dignity is necessary so that you may uphold your right to do what you do as an American. Initiative is very much important. You must have the desire to work and benefit yourself wisely rather that virtually steal from the government welfare. You must have determination to stand for what is right and to make yourself a better person through righteous living. Forgiveness is essential beyond all doubt. There is no need to be outraged or fanatic of simple errors or over false accusation or bias in court. Courage is important for taking a stand against the atrocities and errors of our nation. Perseverance must be held as the key to persisting through danger, war, troubled times, and all those dreadful events. It builds a firmer structure in you. Optimism is key to uphold the best in every situation possible to keep you from falling prey to negativity. Self-control helps one to resist the temptations of the world. Humility allows you to place yourself in the presence of the homeless to help them or to refuse the wrongs that hurt others but uplift your ego. And finally, as the most important thing of all, you must exercise godliness in all that you do so that God may look at you and say, “Well done, my good and faithful servant."
