Devotional Thoughts
Idols in All Forms
Many people hold to the things of this world. Things that are material. Thus, we make them into idols. Idols can be anything you cling to as your source of passion. God doesn't mind when you use the things of this world to furthering yourself in life and doing work, but when it becomes an obsession, you've gone to using it as an idol. One way you can pull yourself away is devotions. Even spending time with family is a good alternative, if you already do devotions. Devotion to God and His Word is better than devotion to the devil and his worldly pleasures. Yes, the world is bad, but it can be used for good.

Kingdom Work
Your life plays a key role in the work of the Kingdom of God whether you see it or not. As I learned at a Christian youth conference known as Move (put on by Christ In Youth), we are all kingdom workers who are loved, rescued, changed, united, and sent. Your services for His kingdom are not unnoticed nor futile. They all have a superb purpose that you are to be a part of by His rightful guidance. You can never underestimate your power. Your limits God works with. He can even allow you to defy them. They are earthly limits with the God of heaven over them. You can be a kingdom worker. Push on and do the work you feel called to do.
